Some pieces arrive with a name of their own. This one is the Burgundy Moon Blossom — small, deep-wine, and quietly sure of itself.
The glass petals are layered close and softly ribbed, as if folded by hand, each bloom holding a pale iridescent centre; green glass leaves fill the spaces between. Deep burgundy carries the whole piece — everything else is just there to hold it up. Set in a warm-white ceramic vase with a fine natural speckle, it's the size that fits where a full arrangement never could: a shelf, a bedside table, the corner of a desk.
And it comes as a pair. Tucked in with every vase is a matching hair stick — one burgundy flower with the same green leaves, on a slender black oak-wood base — made to echo the arrangement it belongs to. One to keep on the shelf, one to wear in your hair: the same quiet red, in two places in your life.
There's no light in this one, nothing to switch on. It simply stays as it is, holding its colour in whatever light finds it. And because every petal is shaped by hand, no two are ever exactly the same.
